Ms. Haughey is an award winning artist. Her work has been shown in private as well as corporate collections, and in numerous galleries throughout the United States, Europe, and Australia.Due to the unique quality and derivation of her work, her angel art has been seen on television, book and magazine covers, and has been interviewed on nationally broadcast television stations and radio programs.

She has been an intuitive artist and author for over forty years. She has quietly observed life since early childhood, and began reading Kahlil Gibran’s books, author of the Prophet, as early as the age of ten. One of his quotes in particular has always spoken clearly.

Deeply personal, inward visions began appearing to her in 1984, and continue to translate into etheric paintings. Her first book, Angels, Guardians of the Light, was published by Louise Hay in 1995, which is a culmination of ethereal art, personal philosophies, and experiences. The original paintings contained within the book were painted in a combination of watercolor, pastel and gouache, which was not considered a typical artist technique. Over the years Ms. Haughey never received any professional artistic discipline or instruction, and eventually developed an unusual signature style of her own.

Ms. Haughey has traveled throughout the United States since her book was published in 1995 offering motivational seminars and classes encouraging people from every walk of life to live their lives to the fullest extent without fear or hesitation. She clearly states “that people can do, or be anything they desire if motivated through the strength and will of intention.” As a certified trainer, Ms. Haughey teaches personal development workshops privately as well as in public seminars, and is based on the internationally acclaimed best selling book, “You Can Heal Your Life”, by Louise L Hay, Ms. Haughey’s powerful life changing courses help people improve in the areas of: self esteem, love, career goals, team building, overcoming fears, releasing the past, and overall health. She is also credentialed arts and crafts instructor.

While touring nationally with Barnes and Noble and Borders Books, she also gave lectures regarding her initial spiritual experience which was also the motivating factor that lead her to paint ethereal subject matter. Since then, there have been numerous multimedia presentations regarding her life, gathered on televised interviews, You Tube lectures, and public seminars regarding Louise Hay’s philosophies.

Louise Hay is the author of, You Can Heal Your Life. Ms. Haughey worked and studied with Louise personally and professionally throughout the nineties, as her art teacher, and cherished friend.

Ms. Haughey’s art has been shown in national galleries, and in private collections from coast to coast. Her art has also been viewed on numerous book and magazine covers, musical C.D’s, greeting cards, puzzle designs, which also include Andrew Ramer’s book, Angel Answers, Gary Markowitz’s, One Source, Sacred Journeys, Mindscapes, and on the cover and contents of her latest children’s book, Rocky Gets Real. The talented author who wrote this book, is Cyndie Lepori. This vividly illustrated storybook is about an abandoned rocking horse that sat in a child’s nursery longing to become a real horse. Wishes are real. Most recently, Ms. Haughey illustrated the contents and cover of the published book, Your Celestial Guide To Exercising Healthy Choices, written by Doctor Clare Steffen

Beyond her artistic pursuits, Ms. Haughey has dedicated over twenty-five years to serving as an ordained, nondenominational healthcare chaplain, providing compassionate care in hospitals and private settings throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. She has also made a significant impact as a high school teacher and student advocate for Boldly Me, a national nonprofit organization committed to fostering wisdom through education in social and behavioral health, positive communication, physical wellness, and self-esteem empowerment for youth.
